hi! i read 6 autobiographies, the firs one was from "Dr Machete", i liked this autobiography because this oerson had a lot of life experiences, that formed his/her personality; the next one was from "gyzzx" and i liked, because she went to my high school (perpa 8) and she desrcibed very well her life, also, i think she have had an intersting life; the next one was from "Magritte", this biohraphy was very moving me, because she had very difficult times, but she could succeed and be happy; the next one was from "Youthquaker", i think this is a very good biography, because it's veri interesting and complete; the next one was from "Darkam", i liked because this person likes to be with his family and he is happy with them; the las one was from "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", i can guess thas she likes the beatles, also i liked, because she has a lot of intersting things in her life.

Hi!! Well first I can say that I liked this task because it is a way to know about everyone's life wich are very interesting. I read just five autobiographies from "Rocker Boy", "Patricia D'arcy", "Mariana", "The Informatic Boy", and "Alberto" I liked them all are very differents but they have some things very special. ResponderEliminarHi everyone! Well I think this task was very useful, for one hand we knew better our classmates and on the other hand we practice our writing, also we remember parts of our life that maybe we don´t often think about.
ResponderEliminar"Reverend": I like that music is very important for your life, I think that without music I couldn´t exist. I also went to Blink 182 concert, my best friend invited me I really don´t like the band but I have to say that it was a good one, and I know what it´s going to the concert of your life, mine was AC/DC! I felt very happy. I like Dream Theater too, but I hadn´t have money, so I couldn´t attend.
"Pretty eyes": I have been in Nayarit, and I share with you that it´s an amazing place, an aunt lived there, well in a place called "La Peña de Jaltemba", it´s a virgin beach, and it´s beautiful. Also, was so funny that in your 15th birthday a policeman chased you! :D
"Darkam": Oh, wow!! you have a lot of brothers... I think it´s a lot of fun huh? knowadays it´s not common to have big families. I think family it´s the most important thing we have in life.
"Best Friend": I know Ensenada too, it´s a beautiful place, I like it a lot. There´s where my mom lives,in a place called "Playa La Mision" there lives a lot of Americans, and also the sea it´s very cold, you can´t swim, I have some friend from California who surf and they use special suits.
"Habibi": I think that a close death changes your life and even though it´s difficult is also knowledge about life, so I think we should do the possible to be happy and fight for our dreams.
"Jane Doe": I like very much Oaxaca, I went there 1 year ago and I had a lot of fun, the people from Oaxaca is very nice and also I enjoy the food, it´s really good.

Trompitas: I found interesting your biography for specially one reason, I identify myself with you because I began my life when I entered to high school too.
Magritte: First of all - Almost Happy Birthday -. I found really interesting your majoy. I have never been good at Literature & History but I find it marvelous. I admire you because you have had a difficult life and it has done that you're a strong person.
Alberto: I found really interesting that you have been in a religious school and still you take life with a mathematic & logic sense. I have had the opportunity of knowing about you & until in your letter you're a really nice person.
hi guys! well i liked this task beacause I can find things I don't know about you and thins that I wouldn't imagine just looking like Lulú, even we were together last semester I didn't know that she were into cybernetics, or Paty that she was born in NYC, that Roy is not only into music (that is his life) he also is a very atheletic guy, Juan!!! he has 10 siblings!! OMG!or Jennifer, she has a lot o friends!, I read "Pretty eyes" atobiography too and I like so much her description of the "Lunada", and Elizabeth, that she told us the way she started to like The Beatles and she studied on Prepa 6!, well, I like this task so so so much!!

ResponderEliminarI've read 6 of your biographies and I have stayed amazed by some things have passed to you and I have some comments and questions for you.
Alberto: You went to the same school as my girlfriend, she was there since 2000 to 2003 (Instituto Progreso y Esperanza) I think you didn't meet her because as I understood, you were there in kinder garden but anyway it's a surprise .
Paty: I can't understand why if you were born and lived in USA for 4 years, you need study in CELE, do you forget the language or you never learned it well?
Jenny: Although you are my friend since 3rd level, I didn't know a lot of things of you, I think you could stay in FESC because it would be better for you, nearer and more confortable.
Green Eyes: I read that you play soccer and a lot of sports, I like a lot sports. I would like see you play soccer and play against you, I think you would be a great rival.
Life in 500 words: I like so much your life because you have done thinks I had liked to do like the projects of robots, Have you seen Ironman? Well, It's my favorite movie because Tony Stark is a scientific who make robots and machines all the time with a great intelligence. Your experience is wonderful.
Alberto (Alan's Friend): If I had been in other major I would like study your major because I like so much the math, and also for me they are easy but I like chemistry, physic and thermodynamics, all the things who englobe the engineering, too. That's the reason I choosed Chemical Engineering.
I liked this task because I could know other things about my classmates and I could see that they have done a lot of great things and it is an activity that can help us to have more confidence between us.

My dear classmates, It's incredible how people can open the heart telling the most fantastic thing: Our life!! I really esteem what you done, this activity makes meet one each other. I alredy read 5 stories: "Beautifil life", "The informatic boy", "Alondrita", "My life" and "My movie, my life" . But believe me I'm going to read all the biographies!
I found some incredible life stories, and it's important to us reflect and make the questions: Who am I? what is the purpose of our lifes?

ResponderEliminarwell, fortunately I had time today (because of this great holiday), and I decided to read the autobiographies and I red all of them.
And every single one gave me a different sensation, I mean, I loved the way everybody has something to tell, and the most I liked was the things in common I found out.
It is great to know that I have mates that love music as much as I do. That do dancing as me, that were the best students, that have the dream to travel around the world and to be better.
I really feel good in this group, and know I feel happy because of trust telling your stories.
I liked the activity so much, now I fell closer to you than before :)

Patricia D'arcy: I never imagined the way it was your childhood, I´ve always wanted to go to another country but never been lucky, anyway, I think you are right when you say it is more important to be with your family.
Jennifer: I have to say that admire people like you; yoh have to travel about two hours every day to study. Also, I hope you don´t miss a lot your highschool and whish you to have better experiences.
Ricardo: I was really shoked when I read yours, you must be very proud of your achievements, It´s good to know that there still excellent students like you lol, anyway, I hope you keep going up and be very succesful at your career.
Rocker boy: Again I was shocked by reading yours, to be honest I always tought that a musician is not very interested in sports, but now I see I was wrong. Besides, I´m glad your band is succesful, I hope yoy become really famous soon.

"my life in 500 words": What happende to all the animals you used to have? When I was 7 or 8 years, I had 2 tortles, 10 or 15 fishes in a very verby big fishbowl, and a dog. My house was crazy but I loved it, of course my mom didn´t.
"The Reverend": We studdied in same High School. But I graduated 2 years before you, I´m prom 2006.
Moni: My granmother is living with my family and she love the soap operas, so when I have free time I watch some of the with her. I love spending time with her.

I read the autobiographies and I like this activity because I could know more about the parners of my english class and I thought it is great because is a way that in class all the peolpe knew between us.

Fernanda: I went to Oaxaca last year and I liked, there I visited churches, museums ans I ate ice creams of many flavours, my favourite flavor was "sorbete".
Habibi: I lived with my grandparents too, actualy I only have my grandmother and she is like my second mother, you are lucky because your family always are with you and all of them supported you.
Pamela Stella: My father also was teacher, he was Geography teacher of secondary school, later he was director. I want like you travel around the world but first I would like to know my country.
The informatic boy: I like you I´m also very proud to be Puma, since one month ago I started to practice yoga, and I would like to practice until this help me to my flexibility and to better my health.
Ricardo Sánchez: Congrarulations, you are an intelligent boy that probably you´ll get all things that you want.
Rocker boy: I liked the music and to know places in Mexico. In Puerto Escondido I liked to see how the people practice the surff. You have a very balanced life because you have the combination of art, funny, sports and studies.

I have to confess. I wasn´t exciting with this activity, the delay of my comment reveal it. However I started reading the Alberto´s work and I discovered many new things of the life of a guy who I consider my friend. Then I thought, “If I found out a lot of experiences of someone I know, so what can I expect of the rest of group”. Here are some of the things I remember of them:
Moles.
We share that unexplained felling of take part on develop of a little child. I think we experiment again the process that our parents educated us, but this time we can change the bad things for better ones.
Mariana.
How can you remember your third birthday? Your life is full of diverse contests; apparently you love to compete too. I read you admire your parents, so: Why Psychology?
Lulú:
I don’t like animals, but I admire your sensibility with it (or them?). You have to tell me all about your experiences in Puma research. I can understand the jump from Genomics or Medicine to Veterinary, but how can you explain the abysm with Mecatronics, “beauty”?
Paty:
Your mom´s life sounds very interesting. It´s a shame you haven´t known well your father, he sounds interesting too. We share the passion for movies and novels. I never imagine you practice tennis, don´t stop.
Darkam:
Eleven sons?! How can you coexist? I used to play videogames and enjoy Christmas too.

We should have to go for some beers and spend a lot of time talking about our past partner.

ResponderEliminarA little late I know, but I'm here to comment, at the end of our semester, one of the activities I enjoyed the most: the autobiographies.
Elena: Wow, I didn't know that you also had studied at the simón Bolivar High School, and Im agree with you, most of the people there just wanted to be popular... and I'm sure that someday you will find again your passion for the violin =)
Roy: it's amazing how you can manage your time to: go to your (our) faculty, study 2 languages, play bass guitar, go to the gym, and swim, all daily!!! I thought you've learned to play the bass guitar when you were a child, but now I can see that if you really want some, the age it's not a matter to achieve your goals.
Gis: that tooth extraction must have hurted, haven't it??? but your'e a brave girl =P I see you also enjoy practicing sports, but, I'm dying to ask: how did you feel that your mother was also your teacher at school? was it exciting, good, more a less?
Pamela: the life in the engineery faculty it's hard, and I believe it's much harder if you're a woman, but with your hard work you're know harveesting all your efforts, aren't you? :) it's amazing that you study, work, and also come here at CELE to study 2 languages, that's something to be proud of =)
Elizabeth: what else can I say?? your'e and exemplary woman, you always want to learn somethign new even you already have a master degree =) women like you demostrate to the "macho" men that women can also achieve great goals because of your capacities, in some cases, greater than a lot of guys I know =P
All of you I believe have something interesting to say, something to feel proud of, and something to teach the rest of us. I really enjoyed this course, sharing knowledges, jokes, and personal opinions with all of you. I'll definitely miss this course, and some of you too, it was an honor to be part of this group.

ResponderEliminarI couldn't read the Autobiographies before but now that I take the time I found this activity very interesting.
In Cecia's I've noticed the importance of the extender family, because the loss of the grandparents is an event that mark her life, her family lived near grandparents meanwhile in USA the elderly people lives and dies in a nursy home.
I have read Juan's and I'm surprised that he has 10 brothers something very uncommon nowadays, it must be very amusing and funny, I don´t have brothers or sisters and I WOULD LIKE TO. I don't like Christmas time nor the food, nor the celebration I rather summer and my birthday.
Reading about Monica, I perceived that she lives with her aunt and uncle and they have to make at list a meal together, something that in my family never happens is not a rule, we don't cook and when we eat together is always outside. The second rule of Monica’s family, awaking early always is a good training but I wouldn't be very happy with that.
