ResponderEliminarI liked the Eric's presentation "History of drums and percussions, because i like listening to music; i liked the Elizabeth's presentation " Do you know who won the first color TV patent?", I did know a little about Camarena, but not about life or other inventions! I liked the music too, and I clearly heard you=)
ResponderEliminarDoing this ora presentation was useful to me because I learned how to improve my speech, voice and speed
hello,
ResponderEliminarI watched the presentation "Automobile invention" by Azul, and I liked it because I learned many things about an invention wich is really common to us and sometimes, this is the reason why, we don´t question us about this kind of stuff.
I considered very interestin the Pamela´s presentation because I like architecture and she gave us great examples of contemporary architecture and showed all could be done.
The Jennifer´s presentation was very good. I didn´t know many mexican inventions but is good to know what is made in Mexico, and I think we should know more about Mexico and mexican people . I really liked the rocket belt!!!!
hi again!! I'm going to put the rest of the presentation that I watched:
ResponderEliminarFor Gabriel: i liked your presentation, because i ddin't know many things about Bruce Lee, i Just knew that he was an actor
For Fray:I liked it because it is very reflective of our reality as well that is very specific terms
For GiselaI: I liked knowing about the life of Frida Kahlo, though his house brings me bad memories, only a bit annoyed me were the sounds heard suddenly XD
Today I saw Frey´s presentation and makes me thought a lot of all you said in it, and I think all people should reflex about this because it´s a very interesting topic.
ResponderEliminarFinally I think the Alan´s presentation is good too because it help us to understand why is a very good writer García Márquez and gaves us another vision about he.
Do you know who won the first color TV patent?
ResponderEliminarHi Elizabeth! I like the way you presented this topic, I knew that Camarena invented TV color, but I didn't knew that he also built his own telescope and he contributed with education through his invent, thanks for the complete information!
Well done
Women’s Suffrages- Jocelyn
I think this topic, as you’ve already said, is very relevant for us as women and how some of our gender fight exhaustively to reach this right (vote and could be elected)!
1985 Mexico City earthquake- Juan
I didn’t know that the earthquakes started on May! OMG! Imagine! You know? My dad was in the ocean near Guerrero when this happened and the captain told him that a whale passed under the ship!
The discovery of anesthesia
Monicaaa!!! I think your topic is very interesting!!! Was proved on a theater!!! I realized that I didn’t know anything about this, but know I can boast of this theme!!
The beginning scream was a good idea and scared me!
Advertising-Paty
I hate commercials before movies!!
I like your presentation!!! Only images and I know that we all are part of it!
Christopher Reeve-Alberto
I used to think that the only thing he had done was superman, but no! his story life is interesting, and I didn’t know that he has a Foundation, cool!. Superman is vulnerable to kryptonite!!
Doing this oral presentation was useful because, first of all I practice my verbal skills and secondly I enjoy listening my partners presentations, I think that the presentations was very informative and interesting and I hope you like mine
Elizabeth Aguirre: Do you know who won the first color TV patent? I like this presentation because as Mariana said I knew that Camarena invented the color TV but I didn´t know all his others inventions or contributions.
ResponderEliminarJocelyn Best: Women´s Suffrage, is amazing to know how many events had to pass for having this right that nowadays is common for us.
Fernanda Álvarez: The National Theater, I really enjoy it, because I learnt more about the composition of the National Theater and his history.
Erick Bengochea: History of Drums and Percussions, I like it, it was really interesting that Erick talked about the uses of these instruments in cultures like mayas and aztecas, and I always want to play an instrument.
Gisela Solís: Frida Kahlo, I really like this presentation because the history of Frida Kahlo and his paints seems to me very interesting, the way in which she reflect his life and all the things and circumstances that surrounded her.
Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because it was a different and funny way in which I practiced the English. And watching and listening all the presentations I learnt many things that I did not know.
Alberto López: "Christopher Reeve".
ResponderEliminarYou are right, I didn´t know who was the man under that unforgettable black suit. The paradox you mentioned is very extremist, but unfortunately real.
Mariana Barba: "WAIIS III. Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale".
Very funny: "hypotenuse" jaja. Is that scale world over accepted as official? For me is difficult think that intelligence skill can be measured. And, in that case I think many other factors have to be considered.
Patricia Darcy: "Advertising".
Woow! What a bombarding. I recognized every single slogan. So I belong to that worldwide communication industry you mentioned. But, what I supposed to do? We all support the system.
Was a convenient activity. To me, it´s easier to speak when there´s no an expert anxious to correct me. I didn´t know this kind of tools, it results very easy and useful.
Elena: I didn't know that there was many flamenco styles I thought that was just one. I really appreciate the way that people sing, play and dance that kind of style. It's very interesting.
ResponderEliminarGabriel: It´s good to know that Bruce lee had any contributions to martial arts because I just knew that he was an actor, now I know that he even has a producer. I think if the firts version of the lee's death is true was good because it was a peaceful death.
Roy: I like the idea of thinking that music is more than an art because this mean you really love music. I have many problems to listen your presentation because music was higher than your voice so many parts I couldn't understand. =)
Ricardo: Your presentation was interesting because da Vinci is a well known person and I think he had many good contributions in differents areas, and he was very intelligent because it seems he could do everything hah. I liked even there was a lot of noise.
Fray: I like your outlook, your totally right it can't be possible how people use technological and scientific advances just for their own bennefit. I like your presentation because you includes all the achivements in general and in differents areas and I think the same "personal change is the beginning of a world change"
I really liked the activity and I enjoyed it because it help us to increase our skills like listening, speaking, reading, etc. apart of this, it served us to know about the life of many people and their achivements.
Hi everybody!
ResponderEliminarIm Gabriel, and well here are the comments about the presentations I watched:
Gisela: Your Frida's Kahlo presentation was very interesting, because I believe she is an icon in our country, and also worldwide, and I didn't know a lot of things about her life, I think she was a real example for all of us, and, proudly, a mexican woman =)
Jennifer: It's amazing to now know that lounge music, a very famous electronic music style, was created here in Mexico, and not in Europe as I thought before :P Your work shows us that there is a lot of quality in our country, all we need is support from the goverment, and belive in ourselves :)
Elena: I liked flamenco before I Watched your presentation, but, thanks to your work, now I want to learn more and more about Flamenco, and even I don't have the age to study flamenco guitar or dance, it's very interesting to know about it's history, styles, and evolution!!! (psd: what's the name of the song you played in the presentation??)
Ricardo: As you, I believe Da Vinci was one of the most influent people ever, and I'm sure that there will pass a lot of years for another genius like him to born again. It was very interesting to know he had a lot of professions, and how young he was when he started to develop his abilities.
Alan: My "tocallo" garcía Márquez, for me, the best poet in Latin América, just after Pablo Neruda. I didn't know a lot of things about his personal life; and of course, his contributions to the poetry had been recognized worlwide, not only in Latin America. A very good work Alan, and as you said, it's better to say the names of his books in spanish, because you preserve the essence =)
I think that doing the oral presentations was a very nice activity because we didn't had the pressure of speaking in front of the classroom, and, there were very interesting themes to hear about =)
Mónica-The discovery of anesthesia
ResponderEliminarWow! I didn´t know that a person can die from the shock of pain!! that really scares, isn´t it? And what a shame that cocaine causes adiction, it would be a great medicine.
Pamela-Future Buildings
I was shocked when I saw that the Latinoamerican Tower was just half of the largest building in the world. I hope that the future building were more like the ones at the end, we shuold take care of nature. Cool pictures!!
Juan-Earthquake 1985
I still don´t know how the country could recover from this disaster, the quantities that you gave are amazing, I mean, only 90,000 persons with potable water!! anyway, I´m glad that some actions have been taken to be prepared.
Gabriel-Bruce Lee & his Contribution to Martial Arts
Great presentation! I used to watch Bruce Lee´s moovies as a child, and I really liked them, still, I didn´t know that he was a philosopher!! and also, that he introduced the "chacos" to the american people, I agree with you: his contributions to artial arts are huge. However, what a strange story about his death, don´t you think?
Mariana-WAIIS III. Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale
You see? Once again you showed that you know a lot about your major!! However, I agree with Alan, I don´t think that the intelligence can be measured with these tests, but they do help to know more about the personalitie. Good joke about hypotenuse jaja.
Well, I enjoyed this activity because it was easier to make the presentation, especially becuase I get very nervous.
Erick: You are an expert drummer! It was amazing to know abaout the history and the percussions in the cultures.
ResponderEliminarElizabeth: I liked your voice a lot and I liked your presentation because you investigated about how the tv color functions :)
Jocelyn: Unfortunately we live in a world dominated by men. I think that we deserve the same rights as men and there are a lot of cultures which treat women even as an object. One teacher told me once that thanks to the christianism now exists the patriarchy, because if you see, ancient cultures used to revere women, matriarchy existed, but we should discuss it personally, I could write a lot. And nice recommendation, my father tells me that too, and he takes me to vote every votations.
Gabriel: wow! I didnt know how great Bruce Lee was! I thought he was just an actor...it was interesting
(Can I lend you the cd on tuesday? I put like 4 songs...or which one did you reffer?)
Azul: I think automobiles are a great achievement too. Thank you for the great information :D
Pamela: I loved your presentation and the first building you exposed...it could be great to calculate or build tall building, couldnt it?
**I couldnt see the other presentations because it told me there was an error, maybe in my connection, but I promise this weekend I´ll watch the other ones**
This activity was useful to me because I practiced my pronunciation and I investigated in english, so I practiced my reading and english understanding.
Even because I practiced my listening!
Hi all of you!
ResponderEliminarI know that's a little late but:
Jocelyn:
I really liked your presentation. I think that we (as women) must know about our rights and responsibilities. It's a shame that it was too late...unfortunately it's not even a century that it passed. I would like to know more about women's suffrage in Mexico, like: when was the first time that a woman vote in Mexico? and who was in the power in that time?
hi jennifer!!! responding your question, the vote for women in México was on october 17 1953 under the goberment of Adolfo Ruíz Cortines =)
ResponderEliminarHi!
ResponderEliminarPamela: Dubai is a very interesting country especially in the architecture, the skylines and the artificial islands, the pictures were very demonstrative, I’ll see more pictures in google maps.
Frey: I don´t see humanity achievements in your presentation, but it is a good reflection on the things in which the humanity in general should improve, i agree with your opinion about all the “chafas” things that we must buy.
Jennifer: I like your presentation the Translucent concrete is a very good invention many constructions looks well and they save light at the same time hahah!
Mariana: I felt identified with the Homer picture, I did that test once in the school, gave me headache.
Paty: the Madonna song couldn´t be better! Nowadays everything is about publicity, everywhere you go the publicity is going to be there although your don´t want….
I saw Roy´s, Ricardo´s and Elena´s presentation.
ResponderEliminarI like the way that Ricardo talked about Leonardo. In my personal opinion I consider Leonardo DaVinci one of the most important Engineer, He designed a lot of humanity achievements. I didnñt know anything abuot his childhood. The presentation was interesat. I enjoyed it.
It was difficult to me recognising Roy´s voice in his presentation, the music confused me, but his topic was interesant. I don´t know a lot about musical instruments, but was easy to me to understand what Roy tried to say. I like the way that he teach us how guitar must be used.
For Elena´s presentation I like how she talk about Flamenco. That presentation show us that she really love dancing Flamenco. The History part wasn´t bored. In general it was a good presentation.
Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because I learned to use this program that will be useful in the future for others activities. It was useful because is important listen ourselves speaking english, it shows ours mistakes and problems.
Thanks for the information Joce!
ResponderEliminarMoni:
ResponderEliminarI loved the scream at the beginning of the presentation. How did you think stuff like that? I think that anesthesia it's a really interesting topic. I would like to dedicate my life in this part of pharmacology but it's a difficult specialty because risks for diverse interactions with receptors body and go across the brain's barrier and would be toxic for body.
Frey:
ResponderEliminarYour presentation it's very striking. I think in the same way you do. If we start the change of our mind it would be the beginning of the world's change. I congratulate you for the way you think!
Gabriel:
ResponderEliminarI found your presentation very interesting and I want to say that your an excellent talker, actually. I can't hear the words "marcial arts" and don't think in Bruce Lee. It's very educational listening about his life, and I didn't know about Bruce Lee and his relationship with metal sticks...it's amazing. But it's really sad that Lee men hadn't had a happy ending, don't you think?
Alan:
ResponderEliminarI found your presentation really interesting. I must say that heartily I have resisted for reading Gabriel García Márquez's literature because thanks to my father's influence I didn't like his work because his high-flown (or rude) language despite that I know he has a wonderful and amazing work for (as a example) combining an imaginary story with the real and cruel history of Colombia. I think that thanks your presentation I'll read one of his books (or maybe more jejeje).
Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because I learned a lot of interesting and new things about achievements but more important was that I learned a lot of my companions and I found interests that I wouldn't imagine ever. Nice work for all of you guys!!!
ResponderEliminarAzul:
ResponderEliminarHahaha i didnt know that the first vehicle of this kind was a little toy made for an emperor of China, nice detail.
Elena:
Wow, i am very surprised for your presentation, taking the culture as a humanity achievment was brilliant, and the images that you used seems to dance with the background music. Well done.
Gabriel:
ResponderEliminarI didnt know that Bruce Lee fought against Chuck Norris but ¿Who win? I cant believe that he fought for the rigth to teach martial arts, that took me by surprise.
Monica:
Your presentation was interesting to hear, funny to see (for your images) and scary to read (for the note about the surgeons).
Fer:
ResponderEliminarI never thought that had existed a National Theater before Bellas Artes.
I found this activity very useful because now i can make more elaborated presentation and is just perfect for a project that i have in mind...
Elizabeth: That was a very intresting presentation, I think that the color television is one of the highest achievments of the man because that has revolutionated the tv nowadays, thanks to that we have now the High Definition TV that personaly I enjoy a lot :)
ResponderEliminarRicardo: The presentation abour Leonardo DaVinci was very exating, thats because I enjoy a lot the history of DaVici, he es one of my heroes of history for all the things that he done and invent, thanks to him the man has advanced a lot in the indusrty and a lot of thinks.
Azul: I like your presentation very much because I think the car is one of the best inventions, thanks to that we can travel trough highest distances and go form a place to another in only minutes, and in the pass that could take us days, even now that there's a lot of traffic her in Mexico City and many other places.
Alan: I love very much your presentation just for a simple reason, I love Colombia and I admire the famous people that this beautiful country has, I love Colombia and I've read some of the Gabriel's books, I admire Gabriel and his history.
Juan: I like your presentation about the earthquake of 1985 thats because Mexicans united for the good of us, everbody helped each other and Mexico defeat that tragedy, it's horrible how many people died but its better how many people was saved thanks to mexican people. I admire that part of the history of Mexico a lot.
Roy: Oh brother what can I say about your presentation, I just simply love it and you know why, you already told me, because we are musician, and I enjoy everything about music, I enjoyed so much yout presentation bro, Music is Everithing! :)
Erick Bengochea.
Hi sorry for be late
ResponderEliminarMónica I like your presentation,my favorite part was when you talked about the thinghs that the doctors needed to do for operations without anesthesia, I imegine these situations was horrible for the patients, and I think thet the invention of anesthesia was for save lifes and for lees paint
Elizabeth your voice and the music that you used was really cool I liked, i didn´t know that Camarena suffered a horrible accident and that he invented the tv color for educate tha children, good presentation congratulations!
ResponderEliminarMariana I liked your presentation because I remembered some thinghs and I learn new ones, I already applied the otrher test that invented Wechler but for children and I discovered that were so useful and important
ResponderEliminarGisela I liked your presentation because I didn´t anything about Frida Kalo how his illness and all the thinghs that she sufered, and how she plasmed all this pain in his diferent pictures, I think she was an example of life for a lot of liberal women
ResponderEliminarPaty I thought that your presentation about adverstising was interesting and I learn a lot of thinghs, and how the advertising is for the enterteiment of people besides sometimes i hated, because are so much but well thank you for the information
ResponderEliminarDoing this oral presentation was useful to me because I learn some things about my own presentation, I think that this activity was new for me and I think is a better way to use the tecnology for lern in this case english, thak you teacher for the patience and the original ideas for practice, an sorry fot be late but I had a lot of exams and final works, sorry again
ResponderEliminarFor Eric: I liked your presentation, but I didn´t know that you play an instrument, That's good
ResponderEliminarFor Elizabeth: Thanks to González Camarena for giving us the TV Color and thanks to you for giving us more knowledgement about the life of this great man
Frey, I liked your video, it would be good if all the people thougth as you, One person can do the difference, the problem is that there's millions of persons in the world and nobody does something
For Azul: I would like having a car 'cause I need it so much. This is a great invention, the bad thing is that it's one of the things which increase the pollution
For Gabriel: I like the movements of Bruce Lee, his movies are very good. I think that Jackie Chan should learn something of him
